Madrid, July 10, 2025 — Excelia, The Spanish consulting, technology and professional services firm, has been awarded the Accésit for Internationalization in the recent edition of the SME of the Year 2025 Award in Madrid, launched by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander with the collaboration of El País, and which was attended by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid; Ángel Asensio, president of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services; and Luis Isasi, external advisor of Santander and non-executive president of Santander Spain.
The consulting firm, which is experiencing significant growth across the board, received this award from Rocío Albert López-Ibor, Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment of the Community of Madrid, for its ability to translate its global vision into a solid and sustainable business strategy. With operations in some fifty countries and a specialized offering in digital transformation, Excelia has consolidated its international presence as an engine of growth and competitiveness.
As it indicates Ángel Asensio, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid: “The 2025 Madrid SME of the Year Awards celebrate those who truly drive the real economy: small and medium-sized enterprises. The ninth edition of these awards has had 131 companies registered, whose applications have been assessed taking into account job creation, the number of permanent contracts, as well as the presence of women in the workforce, training actions for employees, the internationalization, innovation and digitalization activities carried out by the company and the inclusion of socially responsible projects as part of the company's strategy.
